Wolves are one of the most carved animals worldwide since they are a powerful symbol of a free, wild spirit. They are usually carved in a howling position, with stretched knecks, and sometimes as they hollow in pairs. Another position, not as common, is of an angry wolf showing its teeth. Both positions are demanding and require a lot of skills to pull of right.
